PROpulsion Speaker Agreement

What PROpulsion Can Use

I grant PROpulsion permission to use and make available:

• My presentation, slides, handouts, and any materials I submit
• Recordings and transcriptions of my presentation and discussions
• Photographs and videos of my participation at the event
• My name, biography, photograph, voice, and likeness
• Testimonials, quotes, snippets, and clips from my participation
• Information I provide on registration forms

How PROpulsion Can Use These Materials

PROpulsion may use these materials for:

• Educational purposes
• Promotional purposes
• Marketing future events
• Making content available to ticketholders and members
• Publishing on websites, social media, YouTube, podcasts, and other platforms
• Licensing to partners, sponsors, or other organisations

PROpulsion may use these materials in whole or in part, and may edit them for length, clarity, or format.

My Commitments

I warrant that:

1. My presentation and materials are original to me, or I have obtained all necessary permissions to use them.
2. I have obtained permission from any copyright holders for PROpulsion to use these materials as described in this agreement.
3. I have obtained permission from any co-authors for PROpulsion to use these materials as described in this agreement.
4. My presentation and materials do not infringe on the rights of others.
5. I have full authority to grant this permission.

I agree to:

1. Provide my biography, photograph, and presentation details by the deadline PROpulsion specifies.
2. Attend any scheduled briefings or technical checks as requested.
3. Deliver my presentation or participate in my panel at the scheduled time.
4. Conduct myself professionally and respectfully towards all participants.

Communications

I consent to receive communications from PROpulsion via email, WhatsApp, and other messaging platforms regarding event logistics, future event invitations, and PROpulsion news and updates.

I may opt out of marketing communications at any time, but I will continue to receive essential event-related messages.

Cancellations

If I need to cancel my participation, I will notify PROpulsion immediately in writing.

PROpulsion may cancel, postpone, or modify the event at any time. PROpulsion may also withdraw my speaking invitation if I fail to meet these commitments.

Key Understandings

I understand that:

1. This agreement is irrevocable and not time limited.
2. PROpulsion is not obligated to publish or use my presentation or materials.
3. PROpulsion may license my materials to third parties.
4. I retain ownership of my original intellectual property, but grant PROpulsion the rights described above.
5. This agreement is governed by South African law.
