MEET ROB MACDONALD

Rob serves as the Head of Strategic Advisory Services at Fundhouse and boasts an impressive academic background with an MPhil in Management Studies from Oxford University. He is also a CFP® Professional and has qualifications in coaching and counselling. Throughout his career, Rob has occupied various senior executive roles in the investment sector and has extended his expertise as an independent coach and consultant, specializing in strategic and organizational development.

Before venturing into the investment industry, Rob was an educator at the UCT Graduate School of Business, even overseeing the MBA Programme as its Director. He is a prolific writer and speaker, addressing topics from leadership and behavioural coaching to investments and financial planning. Rob has co-authored “Rethinking Leadership” and recently penned “The 7 Pillars of Financial Health – Partnering with a Professional to Thrive.

MEET MANDY MURPHY

Mandy Murphy serves as a Business Coach at Old Mutual Wealth, bringing a wealth of knowledge from her 25 years in the industry. Her expertise spans a wide range of areas including business management consulting, entrepreneurial coaching, business reinvention, analysis, and valuation consulting. With 16 years dedicated to practice management and another 8 years specifically to OMW Business Coaching, Mandy’s experience is both deep and diverse.

She collaborates with both Independent Financial Advisers and Tied Financial Planners, guiding them in areas such as strategy development and execution, business risk and succession planning, client relations, operational efficiency, technology integration, and talent management.

MEET JUANITA VORSTER

In 2011, Juanita embarked on her entrepreneurial journey, transitioning from an employee to an employer, despite lacking managerial experience or formal business qualifications. Guided by her core principles, such as seizing opportunities without overcommitting, focusing on results over effort, and maintaining simplicity, Juanita’s intuitive business decisions led to consistent profitability and low staff and client turnover. Her success in offering practical solutions to intricate business challenges garnered attention from fellow business leaders, leading them to seek her expertise on various topics.

Juanita holds the titles of Certified Director® and certified Ethics Officer. She has co-authored two business books, penned numerous articles for esteemed publications, and previously hosted a radio programme. While she remains actively involved in her company, drawing from its experiences ensures her advice remains relevant and grounded. When addressing audiences, Juanita blends her “old millennial” perspective with the foundational principles that have been pivotal to her success.

Kim envisions a life where she can assist individuals in transforming their relationship with money, likening it to adjusting a kaleidoscope until it reveals a perfect image. Her mission is to inspire others to master their finances, ensuring that money serves as a tool to achieve their life’s vision. Kim’s guiding principle is to approach money with inspiration, bravery, and purpose, emphasizing the importance of being attentive to one’s finances as a reflection of self-awareness and personal growth.

Outside her professional realm, Kim cherishes her roles as a wife, mother, sister, and friend. She understands and resonates with the daily challenges many face in striving for a balanced life, emphasizing her relatability and genuine connection to those she serves.
